On monday, there's no literature lesson due to Lunar New Year.

Let me start posting the things happen on friday during literature lesson.

On friday, Mr Chua came in to class and we greeted him as normal. After the greeting, he told us to take out our planner to take down the topics that will be tested during literature common test. The topics are:

1. Cinquains -Topics (5)

-Character (7)

2. Macbeth -Remember act scene 1

3. Merchant of Venice -Character traits [Antonio, Shylock, Portia, Bassanio]

-Qualities of mercy

-Friendship [Between Antonio and Bassanio]

-Revenge

-Prejudice/Racism

-Detail [Of the scene]

4. Romeo & Juliet -Character [Romeo, Juliet, Tybalt, Capulet]

-Sonnet

-Imagery

-Detail[Of the scene]

Mr Chua told us that we will start Romeo & Juliet's story next week. After we had taken down the topics, our lesson started. We start the lesson with Merchant of Venice. Mr Chua told us to take out the worksheet he given to us last week as homework, as we will going through the worksheet halfway. Mr Chua suddenly realised that we had to hand in the worksheet to him to let him see what we had written on the worksheet. As he saw some of them is writing down the answer on whiteboard. He also said luckily he remember otherwise we will copy all the answer on the whiteboard down as our own asnwer. Finish collecting our worksheet, Mr Chua discuss with us the question on the worksheet we just handed in for a while. Than we left some time, Mr Chua gave each and everyone an envelope to write down our best friend's name and address at the front of it. Those who don't know friend's address will write their own name on it and he will return to us on april. After writing, go to the teacher's table to search for our friendship card, and put it into the envelope he gave us. Then he will give stamp to those with friend's address. I did not write any of my best friend's address is because I had a lot of best friends and I do not know who should I choose. After everyone had done submitting the envelope, Mr Chua gave us a article printed out from a newspaper. The article is about "Buddhist, Taoist leaders accept pastor's apology". After that Mr Chua asked us if we would forgive a person who insult our religious. Some of us said yes, and some of us said no. As for me, I will not forgive the person who insult my religious because this person is not respecting my religious and I did not insult his religious. So, why should I forgive the person who insult me.

After that Mr Chua asked us another question about if they will right to force Shylock to chanage his religious. I will answer they should not force Shylock to change his religious even though he had did something wrong is because everyone has the right to choose their own religious to believe in. The bell rang, and the lesson end.
