Elvis Presley first album
We did not have lesson on Monday so we continued our lesson on Thursday.
On Thursday, Mr Chua stepped in and went to the teacher's table. He took the assignment we had done from the tray where we placed our done assignment. He asked everyone to stand up, he called name by name that had handed in the worksheet sit down. There were 6 to7 people did not hand in the assignment after he had called everyone name. After 10 minutes of scolding, the lesson began. We had our lesson about Elvis Presley. Mr Chua told us to took out a foolscape paper to draw a table of three columns. The first column was “what do I know” the second was “what do I want to know” and the last column was “what have I learnt”. Before this lesson I know nothing about Elvis Presley, but after this lesson I know a lot of things about him. He was the best selling solo artist in history. He was a famous singer in 1950s and 60s, he had a nickname, "The king of Rock and Roll" and lots more. After going through the text Mr Chua called some of us to stand up and name him some of the famous artists are once or die of addicted to drugs or before been famous the wrong things they had done. After which, Mr Chua show us a video of Elvis Presley. We did not managed to see the video as someone turned the volume of the speakers to mute. Mr Chua was furious because of that. We will told to go home and watch the video. This lesson Mr Chua was very disappointed with our class and told us to reflect on our behavior.The literature is more and more interesting but this lesson was a disappointed lesson.
